Thema Digital is keeping it going with some more deep house loveliness—this time from a supremely talented Tel Aviv-based producer by the name of Dotan Bibi, a.k.a. Dot. Since 2005 he’s fashioned a lean but respectable discography with releases on Sub Static, Moon Harbour, Glückskind Schallplatten, Unfoundsound, and—most recently—Legotek. At the moment Dot is busy setting up his own professional home studio where he can further develop his sound. His substantial experience behind the decks is apparent not just in his résumé (which includes gigs at Tel Aviv’s Cafe Barzilay, Pacotek, and a current residency at that city’s “Gotham” parties) but is also evident in his instinctively floor-friendly, yet adventurous productions.
